THERE MIGHT EVEN BE FOUND A FEW LAUGHS AMONG THESE THOUGHTS THAT HAVE BEEN ACCUMULATED DURING A LIFE THAT WAS ALWAYS FASCINATED WITH THE SECRETS OF EXISTENCE. SO GO AHEAD AND LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF. I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING MORE IMPORTANT OR WORTHWHILE TO LEAVE BEHIND. ANYONE WHO REALLY KNOWS ME KNOWS I'VE ALWAYS TRIED TO LIVE UP TO THE WORDS: "FUCK 'EM IF THEY CAN'T TAKE A JOKE."

THANKSGIVING 2006

Marcia's turducken was the best ever! And everything else was delicious. A good time was had by all although there were fewer friends around the table then usual and we especially missed Mel and Lesley. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

CHURCH AND STATE

Still in the clouds over the results of this week's elections?

Here's some factoids about the latest group of chosen people to pray about:
* It seems that this year, 87 percent of the Jews who voted cast their ballots for Democrats.
* There will be 43 Jews on Capital Hill next year -- more than ever before.
* The number of Jews in the Senate rises from 11 to 13.
* Six new congressmen boost the number of Jewish representatives to 30.
* And here's another factoid that may or may not be the start of a trend, Minnesota elected the first Muslim congressman to ever invade Washington. Keith Ellison will also become the state's first black congressman.
